UK E-Lottery - Make Money and Have Fun

Friday, June 23rd, 2006

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A GOOD FRIEND, MATT HARE, brought this turn-key opportunity to my attention a while ago.

It’s the UK-based online E-Lottery system you can operate from anywhere on the planet.

Matt has kindly written this short report to explain more about it.

All the best,

Dave.Matt Hare

© Matt Hare 2006

I’ll make this report short and sweet because you’re going to want to take a look at this very quickly.

Now before we go any further I have to say I’m not a gambler. I don’t know if you buy the odd Lotto ticket. I can count on one hand the number of times I have over the past ten years (that’s how long the UK National Lottery has been running).

But I learned about this E-Lottery system a short time ago and I’ve joined in.

“Increased chances of winning the UK Lotto by 702% and the EuroMillions Lottery by 3,600%”

First of all, this is a mathematically proven system which allows lottery players to massively increase their chances of winning the UK National Lotto jackpot by an amazing 702% and the EuroMillions Lottery by 3,600%….Yes that’s what I said, 3,600%.

The business is lottery sydicates, rather than entering on your own, you enter as part of a syndicate. On joining you get 5 numbers and the syndicate has every possible 6th ball, giving greatly increased chances of winning.

Not only that, you have a 1 in 13 chance of winning any cash prize in the UK Lotto and 1 in 4 chance of winning a cash prize in the EuroMillions lottery.

“Play from anywhere in the world - Earn a residual income”

It gets better. As well as being able to play both lotteries from anywhere in the world, with radically improved odds, there’s also the option to become an affiliate and earn a substantial residual income on top of your winnings. The affiliate program is not restricted to the UK. Anyone, anywhere in the world can get involved and benefit from this proven system.

“The main benefits”

This is a product that is bought by millions of people in the UK alone every day, there’s no direct competition and the system benefits from FREE national radio and TV coverage.

The company who run E-Lottery are VIrtual World Direct, based in Colwyn Bay, Wales. They are in a massive stage of growth at the moment and I believe in the coming months and years we are going to see the sort of incomes never seen before in UK based notworking business.

In addition to the UK Lotto and Euromillions syndicates, VWD have also recently launched, a skill game with a Mercedes CLK up for grabs, it will appeal to gamblers and non-gamblers alike.

It’s an ideal add-on to the existing E-Lottery business and there’s no limit to the number of times a player can bid on this new auction game.

The game can be played from a PC or a mobile phone. The first bid incidentally is FREE, as an incentive to get people to open an account and start playing.

There is no doubt that this new product will appeal to a mass market of people – even those who don’t play the lottery.

As an affiliate, you get paid every time someone plays through your link.

VWD have BIG plans for the future with more new games due to be launched around September 2006 making the potential earnings from this business even more exciting.

“Back-up and promotional tools”

Since joining this business I’ve found the help and support provided by the rest of my upline team to be second to none and I’ve made many good friends. I’m now working with my team to offer the same support to assist them in maximising the potential this opportunity offers. By working as a team and offering support downline, we will all succeed. The promotional tools available to promote the business are fantastic with an amazing website containing a whole host of promotional opportunities.

There are also a full range of “offline” promtional products available.

I’ve found the demand for this product to be massive and by following the simple steps recommended by upline team members I’ve found this business easy to promote and get started.

I’ll say no more because I’m not here to try and sell you on this, only to bring it to your notice.

Believe me, you’re going to want to check this out. Seriously, you’d be stark raving mad not to.

“A Unique and Honest System”

Make no mistake. This is a unique, honest to goodness system that could make you very wealthy.

If I were you I’d go straight to the E-Lottery web site now and learn for yourself how it works.

There’s a great online movie that explains it all. You can check it out here.

I wish you the best of luck.

Matt.

Strategic Internet Marketing

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

Hi Folks,

I apologize for the lack new articles to the blog lately. I’m in the process of changing broadband suppliers, which has resulted in me being offline since June 14. I’m writing this on a borrowed computer. I hope to be back online in a day or two.

In the meantime, here’s an excellent article from Internet Marketing wizard Stephen Pierce.

STRATEGIC MARKET PLANNING means finding and implementing profitable marketing strategies. But what exactly is a strategic internet marketing strategy?

Strategic Internet marketing is about designing a selling process included in your Internet presence that can track and measure your marketing campaign results. The results are more leads and more quality leads and being able to design measuring tools to hone your marketing plan.

A marketing strategy specifies a target market and a related marketing plan. The marketing strategy is the big picture of what a company will be doing in a market. There are two components to a marketing strategy; the target market, which is mostly a homogenous group of customers to whom you wish to appeal; and, the marketing mix, which are the variables (advertising methods, email etc.) under your control designed to satisfy the target market.

The Internet is only one medium that can be used in strategic Internet marketing. The real world can be a great source of business and part of your strategic Internet marketing too. A typical marketing mix should also include product offered at a price discount, along with promotion to tell customers about the product. Before you venture into the Internet marketplace with a product or service, you should ask yourself these basic questions as part of your strategic Internet marketing plan:

Should you be online? You should have an online presence if you know that fifty percent of your target market is Internet capable. Or, if your only presence is online, theoretically you should be able to reach 50% (maximum) of your target market. Remember not everyone is online. Products that require personal inspection or testing are much harder to sell online.

What approach is most appropriate for your strategic Internet marketing? Should you open an online storefront or be part of an online mall? Maybe you should limit the use of the Internet to just advertising and not online purchasing. Maybe you only need an online catalog your consumers can browse through. Those marketing packaged goods may only need to invest in web advertising, unless the product must be demonstrated to be understood by potential customers.

Is your business purely an online one? For example, Amazon.com doesn’t have retail stores, only fulfillment warehouses. Barnes and Noble have stores as well as an online Internet presence.

Does your strategic Internet marketing need to include the entire globe? If your target market is global, then you will want to use the Internet to reach overseas customers. Translation issues, foreign regulations, copyright and tax laws and foreign currency exchanges must be addressed and answered. What is the level of competition online? Some markets are going to be more competitive than others. Determine if your budget is going to allow you to run with the competition, or leave you at the bottom of the list.

Is your strategic Internet marketing effort synchronized? Ensure your Internet marketing plan is in sync with the rest of your traditional marketing plan (if you have one).

What resources are you going to dedicate to your strategic Internet marketing? Don’t make the mistake that many have by offering a feature on their website and then not fully supporting it. And don’t’ make the mistake of thinking it doesn’t take any money to have an online business, because it does!

The answers to these questions will provide you with an understanding of whether or not online marketing is a viable option. Proper research will also help identify the risk factors in your strategic Internet marketing.

The marketing job does not end with planning. A good strategic Internet marketing plan by itself does not guarantee success. The plan must be carried out and implemented effectively.

How To Sell $20,000 Per Month on eBay selling at Wholesale Prices

Monday, June 12th, 2006

Copyright © 2006 Cube 17, Inc.

FIRST OF ALL LET ME TELL YOU, SELLING ON EBAY IS EASY, but it takes time or money.  eBay has fees that you have to pay and if you want to grow quickly you will spend a lot on fees while you are learning.

My wife had an eBay business and she was a Gold Power Seller selling more than $20,000 per month.  She sold mostly watches, lots and lots of watches.  She sold them wholesale, by the dozen or by the case, 30 to 60 at a time.  They were inexpensive watches; we paid from $2.50 to $4.00 for each one and sold them from $3.50 to $12.00 depending on the quantity purchased.

All of the techniques and suppliers we used are included in my eBook or in my exclusive newsletters you get as a free bonus when you buy my eBook.

When selling on eBay there are several tricks.  Let me tell you the 3 tricks I think are the most important.

Trick #1: Build your reviews.  Your reviews are your lifeline on eBay.  You need to build your reviews so people trust you and want to do business with you.  If they don’t trust you, you won’t sell anything on eBay.  When you start you will have to offer good deals, free shipping or great communication.  I always encouraged people to call me on the phone and ask questions by posting my phone in every listing.  I didn’t get a lot of calls but I did get a lot of reviews.

Trick #2: Make big margins.  You need those margins.  You can’t buy something for $10 and sell it at $12, not even at $15.  The listing fees alone will eat you.  Remember, you have to pay a listing fee, you have to pay a fee if you sell the product and on top of that you pay PayPal when you collect the money.  You could easily pay up to 10% or more of your selling price. This could be your entire profit.  If you use any special listings to showcase your product you could be looking at $20 extra per listing category.  So again, don’t try to make it on volume, try to make it on big margins.  The best things to sell are either unique items or collectibles, name brand items that people are looking for like iPods, or hard to find items or imports.

Trick #3: Make more money on shipping.  When my wife sold on eBay about 80% of our profit was made from shipping charges.  We kept our product prices low so they attract the buyer and charged a bit more on shipping.  People understood and they always got a great deal.  For us it was a no brainer.  eBay does not charge you any fees on your shipping charges, just on the selling prices.

The funny thing is we only sold wholesale on eBay.  And it seemed we were the only ones really selling wholesale.  Most people selling at “wholesale prices” were selling at about 3 times what we could get any of their items.

Many of our customers had eBay stores, others had convenience stores or gift stores, many of them had other businesses and wanted giveaways for their customers.

This is only a small example of what you can do with Wholesale Distribution.  And believe me, it’s not the most profitable one or the easiest to start.  In my eBook you will find cheaper, faster ways of getting started in wholesale distribution and make even more money than I made on eBay.  I made much more from my other wholesale distribution businesses than what I made on eBay and I worked less too.

Fast-Track Your Journey To Online Success

http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com

NO ONE HAS EVER LOGGED ONTO THE INTERNET for the first time and started pocketing dollars in a really short period of time. As with all things in life, there is a learning curve.

SOME PERSONAL HISTORY

Just a few short years ago, I was a working stiff just like you.

One day, I bought and read a book called “Multiple Streams of Income” by bestselling author, Robert Allen. Immediately, I began my journey.

Every night after work and after my wife and children went to sleep, I would get online and explore different ways of using the Internet to make money.

In the 2 years that followed, I spent over $10,000.00 racking up credit card debt buying eBooks, membership sites, special reports, opt-in leads, and joining every “guru” recommended business opportunity that flew into my email inbox…

I stayed up learning, working and drinking coffee until 5:00 in the morning month after month filled with the hope of making money online.

In my 3rd year of working part-time to build an home based income, I finally broke through and earned over $100,000.00 in just 12 months from the Internet.

BECOME THE MASTER OF YOUR LEARNING CURVE

Research the lives of all of the “gurus”. The one thing that you will learn is that my own experience is not unique. Most of the high earners on the Internet experienced a learning curve very similar to my own.

Chances are that your curve will also be similar to mine, but it is my hope that you can get to the top faster than even I did. Three years was a long time to struggle, but every ounce of struggle was worth the reward I have finally received.

In order to shorten your own learning curve, you must do a few things differently than the rest of us did. You must become the master of your learning curve.

THE SHORTEST DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO POINTS IS A STRAIGHT LINE

There is only one way to shorten the curve on the Internet:

You must plan to succeed!

Here is the deal. Most people put up a freebie website and select a few affiliate programs to add to their website. Right out of the gate, most people are running for the finish line without any real plan in mind.

After a few short weeks, people begin to see the writing on the wall that says, “This is going to be a long hard road.”

People check their hit counters daily for six weeks before they realize that getting traffic to their free site is going to be tough.

At this point, they begin developing their first batch of advertising. Then they spend countless months finding places to show their advertisements for free. Some make an even more drastic mistake by blowing thousands of hard earned dollars on their new and untested ads.

These are the people who will learn the facts of life the hard way.

In time, they will learn how to make their advertising work for them. But most will earn very little money from their affiliate programs.

At this point in the learning curve, most people throw up their hands and walk away from their dreams in utter disgust. Instead of a walking away point, this should have convinced the struggling online entrepreneur that they were simply traveling the wrong road.

YOU MUST PLAN TO SUCCEED

From day one, you must begin to learn about the nuances of web promotion. Read everything you can get your hands on. Don’t just read the hype, back it up with the opinions of others who have reviewed the same programs before you came along. Learn from their mistakes and successes.

As you begin to learn, you must also look to make a decision. Do you want to step into a pre-built program that is designed to help you to succeed, OR do you want to create a completely new program of which you are the sole owner?

If you decide to step into a pre-designed and complete turn-key online money making venture, then you must select the right venture to step into. If this is your decision, I encourage you to examine the Plug In Profit Site at: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com

If you decide to go the journey on your own, then do all of the necessary research, planning and preparation that is needed for your success.

PREPARE TO SUCCEED

Decide what you think you would want to do, and then figure out how your planned site will generate a real income.

Internet old-timers know about hundreds of corporation domains that existed with IPO millions, but did not have an actual money plan that could sustain their business model. Most of these companies were among the hundreds of companies that bellied up in the 2000 dot bomb experience.

Don’t blindly believe in your plan. Research others on the web who have undertaken similar business models and see if they have survived. Study your competitors in depth to learn what is working for them and what did not work for them. To better understand what has or has not worked for competitor websites, check out their time lapsed progressions using the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org

Once you have determined your money plan, then you should undertake the development of a business plan and a marketing plan. Utilize professional assistance if you need to do so. While creating your plans, make a determination as to which domain name you think would be best, then register it along with a hosting account. You can do this at Host4Profit: http://www.host4profit.com

Once you have developed your business plan and marketing plan and have run them through several revisions, then it will be time to buy your domain name and to begin work with a site designer and developer. You may need to have your domain sitting on a web host for your site developer, but this is not always necessary. While they are doing their work, enlist a copywriter to help you with your site sales copy.

When your site designer and developer have your site working, you should then undertake significant testing to make sure everything works as planned. It is much harder to fix problems on a operational site than it is to fix problems on a site that is yet to be launched.

When testing is done, then you should fill in your sales copy and then shoot for launch. Of course, you already have a marketing plan in place, so your preparation here will be simply a matter of putting the pieces of the puzzle into place.

You are finally ready to open for business. Don’t be afraid to spend the money to bring your dream alive. Time can replace money in the goal of starting a profitable online business, but money invested can shave years off of your company’s growth.

To Your Success!

Tag and Ping - A New Fad or The Real Ting?

Tuesday, June 6th, 2006

IF YOU ALREADY RUN A BLOG, or you’re thinking about it, you may have heard a lot about ‘tag and ping’ lately, and the chances are you’re confused about what it is…I know I was.

Is it the next online fad or something that can really help improve your bottom line? What does it involve and how you can gain from it?

A former research scientist, who has been incredibly successful at using this method (without sucking-up to search engines, writing articles, buying pay-per-click and creating hype), has released a short report she wrote on ‘tagging’ - what it means and how you can profit from it.

I checked it out and let’s just say, I’ve started tagging and pinging like crazy. The mad thing is that in my rush to get good content out to my visitors (which is what you should always do anyway), I totally missed tagging as a method of attracting new traffic. I currently (and will continue to) use pay-per-click as a traffic-generating medium, but tagging could prove to be massive.

I started my own tagging campaign today and I’ll let you know exactly how things go in the days and weeks ahead.

The great thing is, I’ve permission to publish a complimentary copy of the report to all Solo Profits readers here and now.

http://www.soloprofits.com/freebooks/taggingtraffic.pdf

I think you will find it refreshingly straight to the point, down-to-earth and extremely interesting…take a look!

All the best,

Dave.

The eBay eBook market is dead! Are you kidding me?

Sunday, June 4th, 2006

Copyright © 2006 John Thornhill

“THE EBAY EBOOK MARKET IS DEAD, FLOODED, USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME.” I am a little tired of reading those comments in various forums and message boards. In my opinion the eBay eBook market has never been better, that is if you know how to use eBay to your advantage.

You may/may not know this but eBooks are probably the easiest way to make money on eBay as everything can be fully automated. I am a fan of eBooks with resale rights simply for their viral nature. As other eBay members sell my products they are advertising my services. About 90% of all my website traffic comes from eBooks I have written myself.

The eBay eBook market is crying out for new material, so give them some, give them an eBook you have written yourself and grant master resale rights and let everyone fight over one another to sell it, let them sell it for 1 cent as they battle for feedback. Who cares, as long as the eBook you have provided was created by you and benefits you long term.

Allow your eBooks to be copied and redistributed freely on eBay and they will spread like a virus across the Internet, each one of them a homing beacon leading the way back to your eBay store/website so the whole viral process can start again.

You can also generate a very generous affiliate income by granting resale rights to your eBooks, simply include relevant affiliate links in the form of recommendations and you will see your affiliate income rocket.

Do you have a high priced product for sale? You do! Well why not provide a taster in the form of an eBook then provide the solution in your high priced item. If you don’t have your own high priced product to promote consider clickbank products as an alternative.

If you grant resale rights you need to make it as easy as possible for the eBook to be re-sold, first of all a short statement at the start of your eBook explaining the eBook can be resold is essential, simply explain your eBook can be resold as long as it is not modified.

Also provide all the tools necessary to enable your eBook to be re-sold, include multiple book covers, graphics and a sales page. The easier you make it to re-sell the eBook the more chance you will have of it going viral.

Creating your own eBook is not an easy task. There is research, writing, compiling and a variety of other skills and time-consuming measures involved. It is also not necessarily a perfect fit for every eBook seller on eBay. Some sellers are not interested in writing or simply do not have the skills required to create their own eBook. If this is the case you may want to consider hiring a freelance writer or ghostwriter to produce an eBook or to pursue different avenues within the eBay eBook selling marketplace. Also, private label content is a good option.

However, if you have the skill to produce, or the willingness to create a unique eBook you can profit tremendously. Selling eBooks to which you and others have resale rights to can be profitable, but exclusive ownership of your own title with links to your products and services gives you a massive advantage over your eBay competitors.

Web Surfers Revolt Against “Pushy” Advertising - by Jim Edwards

Saturday, June 3rd, 2006

(c) Jim Edwards - All Rights reserved
http://www.thenetreporter.com
=====================================

JimEdwardsAS THE INTERNET CONTINUES TO POPULATE with websites trying to turn a buck, two drastically different schools of thought have developed on how to advertise online - “Push” and “Pull.”

“Push” advertising involves the use of “in-your-face” advertising tactics such as pop-up windows and direct email. “Pull” advertising entails using search engines and posting articles that literally “pull” interested consumers to a website on their own terms.

As web surfers revolt against pushy advertising, site owners who understand how to pull consumers to their sites will come out the long-term winners.

“Push” advertising tactics worked in the past because they had not reached a saturation point. Since not everyone used pop-up windows, a site owner could use them without fear of backlash. Now it seems pop-up windows hit consumers from every angle and even multiple times from the same sites.

The cycle of events with online advertising always unfolds the same way. Someone finds something new that works and people immediately jump on the bandwagon. As a technique saturates the ‘Net and loses effectiveness, instead of finding an alternative, site owners just do it more!

Result: instead of pop-up windows going away, many site owners just run more pop-up’s - more often!

Well, if recent developments indicate anything, they show that consumers have said “enough” to pushy advertising.

AOL, infamous for their pop-up ads, has agreed to cut down on the intrusions even though their earnings could use a boost right now.

Major ISP (Internet Service Provider) Earthlink even offers a “pop- up killer” feature on their new service.

Almost all email programs come with filters to fight unsolicited email and many email add-on services have sprung up to help consumers eliminate the unsolicited offers for pornography, business opportunities, and promises of instant riches.

This “anti-spam” sentiment has also caused an unintended consequence for legitimate marketers. Many major newsletters have found their emails blocked by spam filters intended to stop unsolicited email. Through no fault of their own, legitimate email marketers have found themselves casualties of the war on spam.

The future of the Internet lies in “Pull” advertising driven by consumer wants and needs.

The successful Internet companies of the future will invest in search engine promotion and in providing valuable, on-demand information consumers receive only when they ask for it and want it. When a web surfer goes to their favorite search engine and enters the keyword phrase “MP3 Player” or “tax advice” that means they are receptive to information on those subjects.

If they read an article about using vitamins to improve health and click a link for more information, only then they will they be truly receptive to a marketing message about vitamins.

Consumers have taken back control of Internet!

Not with laws or more regulations, but simply by flexing the muscles of their wallets. By pulling money away from advertisers who annoy them and putting it with those who meet their needs, the average web surfer has brought the Internet powers to their knees and will continue to reshape the Internet into an effective, consumer-driven communications vehicle.

Any site owner who wants to have a thriving online business and survive the next year had better take this fact to heart!

3 Questions To Empower You

Saturday, June 3rd, 2006

Copyright © 2006 Christopher Green

FOR MOST PEOPLE IN OUR SOCIETY, life will hold little more than a dutiful slog in the 9-5 rat race for forty years before retiring. Many will look back on their lives and wished they’d had an opportunity to have done something different. Some may have even had opportunities to do so but didn’t take them. One thought is very common: “I wish I could’ve done something else but I never really knew what I wanted to do.”

Sounds familiar, yes?

Relax. Because I can help you identify what it is you’d really like to do and I can show you how to begin. It all starts by asking yourself three very important questions and I believe these questions are the most important questions you can ask yourself. Here they are:

1. What, EXACTLY, do I want to do? This question gets straight to the heart of the matter and it requires SPECIFIC answers. Also, your answer should be something you have a passion for and are genuinely interested in and not something you think others would be impressed with. It should be something you feel so strongly about that missing out on it will make you seriously unhappy. By this, I mean IT WILL HURT YOU DEEPLY if you don’t at least give it a shot. Take the time to think seriously about this question, at least 30 minutes a day as this is the first step towards getting what you want. Be thorough. Think about how you’d like to spend each day of your life, and think about what you don’t want to do and what you’d like to change about how you spend your days right now.

2. What do I have to do to get it? This question requires answers about the practicalities required to achieve your goal. It will cover the necessary skills – what skills do you have now that you can use and what new skills will you need to develop? You’ll need to know about courses or training programs you’ll need to take and you’ll need to identify how much practice or study you’ll have to do. Other considerations will be things like location as you may have to move somewhere else, people you need to connect with, making contacts, networking, equipment anything you find that is a necessary part of achieving your goal.

3. What am I prepared to give to ensure I succeed? When you’ve identified what you want to do and what this will entail, you then need to decide what you’re going to give to make your dream happen. Success demands a price. In particular, we have the 3 kings: Time, Money and Commitment. How much time are you prepared to give? Are you prepared to sacrifice other activities to free up more time? Time is the most precious resource you have and it is a non-renewable resource. It is important you give a significant portion of your free time to the pursuit of your goal. Next comes money. You will have to be prepared to invest money in your project – IN YOURSELF – to make progress. This could mean purchasing equipment, attending seminars, courses, property, books, raw materials etc. and without such an investment, it is unlikely your project will get off the ground. Finally, how committed are you to making your dream happen? In my opinion, if you’re serious about getting the lifestyle and the success you truly want, you must be 100% committed to it. This will mean making sacrifices: friends, socializing, working long hours, working weekends in short, sacrificing many of the things you enjoy doing today so you can create a better tomorrow. If you love something and you want to achieve a high standard of success, you will have to devote lots and lots of time to it and place it above everything else. Are you prepared to do this?

You now have three empowering questions to help you get started on creating a new life for yourself. Please make the time to think seriously about the answers you want to give to them and you’ll reap the rewards.

Until next time.

Successful Marketing for Introverts

Friday, June 2nd, 2006

Copyright © 2006 Marketing On The Playground (TM)

IN MY EXPERIENCE I HAVE seen many levels of introvert and extrovert. Let me share some of my own.

– Invite me to a party — I’d rather have a root canal.

– Have me speak about something I’m passionate about in front of a group of people — I shine.

– Put me in a “casual” networking group — root canal please.

– Put me in a “structured” networking group where I can ask for what I need and help others at the same time — I’m in heaven.

We all have our levels of how we interact, the environments where we thrive and the environments where we are extremely uncomfortable. I have seen many people go into business for themselves, myself included, that would rather give up their dream than to market their business and themselves. I was almost one of those statistics. I almost QUIT my dream until I discovered the secret.

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrases for successful marketing, Find Your Passion; Market from your Passion; Marketing from Within, etc. This is actually correct, but there are a few more steps. Too many times we focus on things we can’t do (weakness) versus the things we can do (strength). The most common phrase I’ve heard is “I don’t want to feel like I’m selling.” Then we have this belief we’re supposed to market from the standard marketing box; cold calls, networking groups, speaking, knocking on doors, etc. NO! You don’t need to jump directly into the marketing box first. Get out of the should(s) and the can’t(s). Step into what you do well and what you enjoy first, then, open the marketing door.

The Secret

1. Give yourself permission to redefine marketing to fit your style.

Example #1:

A program participant was very good at her profession as a lawyer but was very uncomfortable with marketing. I have clients brainstorm and write down their strengths and passions. She expressed she had very few on her list. It doesn’t matter how many are on your list as long as you pay attention to what’s there. Some people have 30-40, others have 5-10. She chose her top 3.

Out of her 3 the main passion and strength on her list was one-on-one conversations. We then began thinking of who might be good strategic partnerships for her business. She was thrilled she could not only market from her favorite and most comfortable approach, but also choose her favorite environment, which happened to be in a cozy coffee shop. However, that wasn’t all that was holding her back. She had never given herself permission to call one-on-one conversations marketing. Once she redefined marketing to One-On-One Conversations, she left saying, “I feel like I’ve had a black cloud lifted off my head.”

2. Give yourself permission to market from your comfort zone.

When she gave herself permission to market from her comfort zone she began taking more steps naturally. Two weeks later I turned around at my networking group and there she was. She was enjoying herself because she gave herself permission to redefine marketing to fit her passions and strengths AND she allowed herself to market from her comfort zone. I have seen this so many times. Once you give yourself permission to stand in your comfort zone, it’s amazing how you will naturally evolve towards expanding your marketing. It becomes FUN and Exciting!

Example #2:

Look at what you already have. All you need to market may be right in front of you with your most comfortable group of prospective clients.

A Life Coach I met had a horrible fear of marketing but really believed in his chosen profession and didn’t want to give it up. Through the process described above most of his fears disappeared. But he still found himself hesitating. He had identified his best client but that first step of where to begin seemed too big. In asking Bob about his past profession and contacts he realized not only would they be a perfect client but he knew a large number of people he could comfortably approach. Bob did several things.

1) Gave himself permission to redefine marketing to fit his style.

2) Gave himself permission to market from his comfort zone.

3) Identified a market he had come from and was comfortable.

4) He became so energized with his approach he is making cold calls speaking from the passion of his business.

Sometimes we are so close to things we can’t see them. Look right in front of you – your perfect client and ease of approach might be within reach. However you approach your marketing, you get to choose how you do it. If need be, ditch the word marketing and insert ____________ (the words that fit YOU).

Why Having A Strong Internet Marketing Strategy Can Change Your Business

FOR SOME BUSINESS OWNERS, the definition of an Internet marketing strategy is merely having a website.

While that may have worked ten years ago, trying to compete with 8 billion other web pages today will simply be ineffective. Without defining your key strategies, your site will have no power to bring in any leads, and ultimately no additional revenue.

Creating a strong Internet marketing strategy can be accomplished by working on four tasks.

1. Defining your target market. Just like in your traditional marketing, your online marketing clientele must be identified.

Start with your current clientele. Every business has one type of client that serves them best. Think about that person, and take a few minutes to define their likes and interests. How are you reaching them in your traditional marketing?

2. Discovering where they exist online.

Once you have a clear definition of who your target is, realize that those same people exist all around the world. What works for you in your local environment will transfer easily into the online world.

Look around for similar resources online.

If you target new moms, and use a local parenting magazine to generate leads, look into the online parenting sites. Many of them have online classified sections, or will allow you to place banner ads in their newsletters or on the site itself.

If you’re a local service provider, and have a client base within 30 miles of your office, concentrate on finding resources that are targeting people in your local area. Many of today’s search and research tools will help you discover resources that apply to geographical locations.

3. Writing website copy to reach out to them.

People typically write copy for their website in the same manner as a brochure. Yet a website is so much more.

Your website is your sales team. It’s standing in for you 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week. What you say to your prospects in person should be conveyed into your website.

Your website copy is what motivates your visitors to want to take the next step. Whether your next step is to sign up for a free report, or purchase a product or service, your goal is to lead your visitor by the hand, and make them want to move to the next step.

The better you can direct your visitors, the more successful your site will be.

4. Working with your website weekly.

The most important step to every Internet marketing strategy is to work on it again and again. If you use direct mailings in your business, do you mail just once and hope for the best? You wouldn’t be in business very long if you marketed in that fashion.

Your website is a very similar marketing tool. If you create it once and leave it sit, you’ll never reach a successful level. But if you work with it weekly, you’ll see some amazing things happen quickly.

Websites are meant to have new pages added; new content created; and become resources for other businesses and consumers. And the only way to do this is to have a plan that you stick with every week. Whether its adding a new section, or linking to other sites, working your site just a few hours a week can have tremendous results over the life of your business.
