The Internet’s Single Most Powerful Resource

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’M OFTEN ASKED IF there is one single online resource that offers all the tools you need to create an online business from scratch. Yes there is…and I’ll introduce it to you in a moment.

The great thing about this particular resource is that it not only provides an easy-to-use method of building your site, it also helps you in the all-important planning stage, before you even begin to create your online business. This is part of the process that is usually rushed, and sometimes missed altogether…and as the old saying goes: “If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail”.

This resource is perfect for those who are new to the internet as it takes you by the hand and literally walks you through the whole site building process step by simple step.

The wonderful thing is that even “hardened webmasters” benefit from this particular process because it covers all the bases for you. Absolutely nothing is left out. It takes care of all the “techie” stuff, and that allows you to concentrate on what you do best, deliver good, solid and interesting content for your visitors.

The company is SiteSell.com and the online business creation tool is Site Build It! (SBI! for short) - but before you rush off to check it out for yourself, take a moment to read this letter from Cheryl Johnson of simpledebtfreeliving.com

PS. There’s a link at the end of this post that will take you to SiteSell’s free trial page where you can get a whole library of first-class information…FREE. I guarantee that you would pay top-dollar for this knowledge elsewhere on the internet and these guys give it away…amazing! Now over to Cheryl…

I just had to write you. During the fall of 2004 I began researching work at home possibilities. I felt that if I could bring in some extra income, I could help pay off some debts. I felt so strongly about the Internet that I determined it would be an essential part of any home business I settled on. I bought into several offers. It was soon obvious to me that Internet business did not necessarily mean “get rich quick!”Each time I seemed to find myself scratching my head. There was no real step by step tool that made the fog clear. Then, as if by divine intervention, I clicked on that link to the Sitesell BuildIt! page. SBI made no unrealistic promises and yet seemed too good to be true. The deciding factor for me to take the plunge was the no risk guarantee. SBI proved to be MORE than you promised. My site (simpledebtfreeliving.com — remember my goal of paying off debts?) ranks in the top 200,000 at Alexa, which puts this non-tech mom into the Top 1/2%, ahead of millions of other sites. I make a good and growing income (bye-bye debt), and I see clearly how to use the Net. I would never have achieved this accomplishment without SBI and your wonderful Support and SBI forums. Being able to work at something I love to do gives me more purpose. Building a successful site (me!), offering something of value to others, and actually being recognized for it, has boosted my self esteem a hundred fold. I know where I’m going and I’m taking my family with me, all without having to work outside of the home. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?
Thank you so much.
Cheryl JohnsonHere’s the link to all of Site Sell’s Free Resources

PS. This one resource gives you the ability to change your life… as long as you follow the SBI! process. It is such an important resource for anyone with the desire to build an online business that I will be returning to it again and again on a regular basis. To access all of Site Sell’s reference material click on the complete Site Build It! Reference Center page which I’ve installed for you. A permanent link can be found in my Recommended Resources.

All the very best,

Dave.

No Loopholes In Online Bizz “Rules”

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

HI FOLKS,

This is a Must Read…Learn and Enjoy.

Until later,

No Loopholes In Online Bizz “Rules”

Jim's head shot

I just finished teaching an intensive 2-day workshop in London, England about creating ebooks and operating your own profitable online info-publishing business on a shoestring budget.

As I stood in front of a crowd almost 5,000 miles from home, I realized (yet again) that the Internet represents the great business equalizer of the 21st century.

Anyone with a great idea and the guts and patience to persevere and act on that idea can succeed online, often beating out much larger companies that can’t adapt quickly enough to prosper or profit.

I also realized while standing in front of the crowd that despite arguments to the contrary, people all over the world buy and sell online for exactly the same reasons.

Anyone who tells you that “My market is different” or “It doesn’t work that way in my country” has forgotten the basic rules for selling online.

Bottom line: Anyone selling anything online - regardless of their location - must obey the following “rules” or risk many heartaches and an empty wallet.

** Targeted Audience **
What exactly do your customers want and what words do they use to describe the products and services they will purchase?

Don’t assume you know how and what they want to buy - ask them!

From this research you will determine the “keywords” your customers will use to find your business while surfing and using search engines.

You should then focus completely on these keywords while constructing your entire web presence and advertising campaigns.

** Focused Website **
Your website should center exclusively on those issues directly related to what you sell online.

If you sell “purple widgets” then only write about the characteristics, features and benefits of using your purple widgets.

Take great care in your copy writing to keep your text focused on one subject per web page and make liberal use of your keywords and their synonyms.

Constructing your “mini sites” in this manner will aid you greatly in keeping people focused on your sales message long enough to make a buying decision.

** Targeted Traffic! **
A website without visitors rates the same as designing and constructing a 30-foot billboard and then hiding it in your basement instead of setting it by the highway.

Don’t fall victim to traffic scams which promise thousands of visitors for only $100.

Those schemes don’t work because the traffic isn’t targeted. http://AdWords.Google.com makes the best place to start getting targeted visitors because you only pay for the visitors you actually receive (pay-per-click), not for the ads you run.

** Build Relationships **
Successful online businesses build relationships with their customers and prospects.

You can only do this if you stay in touch with them through value-added mailings, emails, and updates.

Online businesses whose only communication involves repeated “pitches” or opportunities to spend money don’t fare as well in the long haul.

A group of loyal customers and subscribers will sustain an online business owner much longer than a fat advertising budget ever could.

** Stay Informed **
Understand that creating a successful online business requires commitment to a process of constant promotion and continuous education.

You must stay current on cost-effective promotion techniques for driving traffic to your site as well as any factors specifically affecting your market online.

Jim Edwards is a syndicated newspaper columnist and the co-author of an amazing new ebook that will teach you how to use fr^e articles to quickly drive thousands of targeted visitors to your website, affiliate links, or blogs…

Get Paid To Drive, Shop or Just Watch Movies!

ANGEL HARRIS REVEALS HOW HER “SECRET JOB” allowed her to retire early and makes a “very nice income”, working from home.

Angel explains how she has no boss, no co-workers to “drive her nuts” and doesn’t even own an alarm clock - she threw that out ages ago. She does NOT have a website, does NO selling and started with NO prior experience.

Now Angel has developed a global system to help others earn from $500 to $3,500 per month from home, doing nothing more than giving their opinion from almost anywhere in the world.

Angel says; “I’ve been making a living from my home - mostly on the Internet - for a few years now. Sometimes I tell people I’m retired, but that’s not really accurate. I still work, I just do it on my own terms, and without a boss. I “retired” from the world of regular jobs!

“I get out of bed each day only when I am finished sleeping - and not when my alarm clock “tells me” to get up. Heck, I don’t even have an alarm clock any more. I threw it away!

“I walk to my home “office” - the spare bedroom where I keep my computer and work stuff. I fire it up, make a cup of coffee, and go to “work”. And before it’s too late in the afternoon, I turn off the computer and enjoy time with my family.

Working on bed

“We go shopping, we eat at a nice restaurant. Sometimes I go swimming. The point is - I do pretty much what I want to do.

“Now, I’m not filthy rich. That’s not what I’m saying.

“I drive a Toyota, not a sports car. I buy my clothes at Target and TJ Maxx. But - I don’t have a “job” in the traditional sense, and my husband and I never worry about money.

“We take a nice little vacation a few times a year. We have all the “toys” we really want. We just don’t have the “job” headaches most others do. All this thanks to my “Secret Job”. And here’s what that job is: I get paid to take surveys, mostly. Yep. I get paid to give my opinion.”

Have you ever participated in a survey where they gave you a gift of some kind? Like the ratings surveys they do for TV and Radio? Or for a new detergent or toothpaste or something?

If you have, you know that a lot of those survey companies actually pay you for your opinion. Sometimes it’s not much - maybe $5 or $10. Sometimes it’s a lot more than that - Angel has been paid as much as $150 per HOUR for some “focus groups” (where they have you spend a day in a room with other people, giving your opinion).

What most people don’t know is that the companies that do these surveys have a problem…they are desperate to find people willing to give their opinions. I don’t know why it’s so hard for them to find survey participants, maybe it’s because most people are just too darn busy with their lives to take time out to be in a focus group or fill out a survey.

A quick look at some figures shows just how desperate these companies are;

  • Take online surveys: from $5 to $75 each (sometimes more)
  • Participate in Focus Groups: up to $150 per hour
  • Try new products: $5 to $10 or even more (plus you get the products free!)
  • Take telephone surveys: up to $120 per hour
  • Preview new movie trailers: anywhere from $4 to $25 per hour

Companies spend billions a year trying to learn what consumers want. How they think. Why they buy some products and not others. How they shop. In fact, these companies want to know everything about what makes the consumer “tick”.

Having all that knowledge gained from their research makes it much easier for companies to develop, advertise, and sell the products that people really want! That’s how the big companies make their big money: research.

But as people lead busier and more complex lives, the research companies have discovered the only way to get people to take part in these surveys is to pay them for their time.

Angel says; “I use these programs to make my living, so I know what I’m talking about - this is a simple and easy way to make your living from the comfort of your own home. While I may do it full-time, that’s not everyone’s goal; some people do these programs just to make an extra $300 - $500 every month (enough to make a car or boat payment!).

“Others, like me, choose to do this full-time as their sole living. For those of us who choose this route, it is a sweet way to live. I get up each morning and see my kids off to school, then I go to the gym for a great workout. After I have my workout and breakfast, then I go to work taking surveys. I enjoy taking these surveys, they are fun and they pay well, so finally I have found something that pays me to do what I love doing.”

I wish you the best of success,

Dave.

Reward Your Customers for Online Success

Sunday, April 16th, 2006

THE FORMULA FOR SUCCESS for any business is to get your customers to make repeat purchases. There are a number of factors involved for getting repeat customers: pricing, quality of products and services, excellent customer service etc. One of the best ways is to reward your customers for their repeat purchases. Here are three effective customer reward programs you could implement:

Number Of Purchases
This program is based on the number of purchases made by any customer. You could give away a free product or service to any customer that makes ten or more purchases.
To make the program more effective you could require a set time period that all ten purchases must be made by.

Dollar Amount
You can require a certain dollar amount be spent before the customer receives a reward. Tell customers if they spend over $50 in one month at your web site they get a 50% discount on their next purchase. You could also just reward one customer who spends the most every month
with a bigger reward like a vacation.

Points System
Reward customers a point for every one-dollar they spend.
Lets say customers can get a free computer for 300 points.
That means customers will spend $300 dollars on your products and services to get enough points to get the free computer. To push slower selling products or services just offer more points per dollar spent for those particular items.

The kind of rewards you give should depend on what your business can afford. Cheaper rewards could be gift certificates, coupons, clothes, or movie passes. Expensive rewards could be jewelry, vacations, bed and breakfast gift certificates, electronics or computer equipment.

You may want to invest in a good database program to keep track of your rewards program. I also recommend contacting a legal professional for advice, set-up and the structure of your rewards program. I hope these ideas I’ve given you help make your business more successful.

All the best,

Dave.

Make Your Internet Auctions Sell Like Crazy

Friday, April 14th, 2006

A NET AUCTION BUSINESS may be the world’s most perfect entry into e-commerce. It’s fun, easy, cheap and fast — you can even start with less-treasured items stored in your basement, attic or closet, if you want! Consider the benefits… minimal start-up costs, total absence of the need for any programming and technical expertise, lots of actively searching and targeted traffic, world-wide social interaction with people who love the same things, flexibility and the list goes on and on.

What could be better? But like any business, offline or online, there is a right way and a wrong to go about it. Most folks start wrong… and keep going down that wrong road. They may get off to a fast start… but they eventually realize that they’ve built nothing… and that they essentially work for eBay. And that is where “Make Your Net Auction Sell!, The Masters Course” comes to the Netrepreneur’s rescue (hopefully before s/he needs rescuing, actually!).

MYNAS!-Masters is an all-encompassing resource guide that provides nuts-and-bolts strategies and ideas to build a successful Net Auction business, from the ground up. Sydney Johnston, a well-respected Net Auction expert, shares her knowledge, experience and expertise so that anyone can get up and running in the right direction… fast!

Although eBay would like you to think differently, there is much more to a Net auction business than simply registering at eBay, listing items and then waiting for the auction to finish. A Net auction business is a “real” business that takes effort, commitment and smarts. “Make Your Net Auction Sell!,The Masters Course” looks after the “smarts” part of the deal with its clearly written, comprehensive guidance.

The first version of this book sold at $30. Now, I can give it to you for FREE.

If you’re even remotely interested in making money with online auctions, this is the book you need.
