ADSENSE IS CONSIDERED one of the most powerful weapons in a website publisher’s arsenal. It enables a person to monetize their sites easily and If used properly, it can generate a very large and healthy income. However if you are not using Adsense correctly and maximizing the income you can squeeze from it, you’re actually leaving a lot of money on the table.

How you can start earning money with Adsense can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the results you’ll be getting in a very short period of time.

Start by writing some quality content articles which include relevant keywords.

If you’re not too sure about writing your own articles you can subscribe to one or all of the PLR sites I mentioned the other day.

Another option is to hire a freelance writer to research and write articles on your behalf. You can find writers at www.elance.com

There are actually three steps to keep in mind as you begin writing your copy for effective Adsense pages.

1. Keyword research. Find some popular subjects, keywords or phrases. Select the ones you think will have more people clicking through. There’s an excellent keyword research tool supplied for free by Site Build It. It will save you hours of work during your keyword research.

2. Writing articles. Start writing original content using keywords from the topics that you have found in your research. Take note that search engines take pride in the quality of articles they find for searchers and what you write should provide readers with precisely the information they’re looking for. A superb free resource which teaches you how to write better and smarter is the Netwriting Masters Course.

3. Quality content site. Build a quality content site incorporating Adsense ads that will relate to the subject and keywords of your articles and information. This is where all the preparation you’ve done will pay off.

The proper positioning of your ads should be done with care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. According to research, the one place that surfers look first when they visit a site is the top left.

Some of those who are just starting at this business may think they are doing pretty well already and thinking that their clickthrough rates and CPM figures are quite healthy. However, there are more advanced techniques that will enable you to generate more clickthroughs and further increase your earnings. By knowing these techniques and working them to your advantage, it’s possible to earn exceptional income from Adsense ads alone.

To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you want to achieve and how you will go about building your Adsense empire. As with any other serious business, time and patience is the key.

A great tool that will speed up the creation of your Adsense empire is this ebook and video course from Jan Sepstrup.

All the best,
Dave.

Gain Lifetime Customers

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

YOU WILL ALWAYS find that more people turn down your offer than actually buy. They might not have bought because of your price, payment options, or one of many possible reason. You will just end up loosing all these potential lifetime customers. However, there are many ways you can minimize the loss of these prospects.

One way is to accept barter offers for your product. Maybe the person can’t afford to buy your product. They may have something you could use in your business or your personal life. If the barter deal isn’t fair enough, either of you could add in some cash. You may not make money but, they might buy other products you offer.

Another way is to include a negotiation offer at the end of your ad copy. Tell your reader if there is something they don’t like about your offer, they could contact you and negotiate a different buying offer. They may not like your price, guarantee, shipping methods, payment options, etc. You can gain a potential lifetime customer by being flexible with your offer and negotiating instead of loosing them.

A simple way to attract lifetime customers would be to give people a freebie. The freebie should be related to the other products or services you sell. You may not be getting paid for the freebie, but you will get a lot more people using one of your products because it is free. If they are impressed by your free product there is a high chance they’ll buy your other products in the future.

The last way is to sell your product at the price it costs you to produce or buy it. You will usually sell more products at a lower price than your competition which equals more potential lifetime customers. You will break even in cost but you’ll make your profit from the upsell and backend products you sell to your lifetime customers.

All the best,
Dave.

Quick Tip

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

USE LESS THAN seven points in your ad copy. If
you start revealing too many topics, your readers
may get confused and stop reading. Your points
could be your benefits, guarantees, testimonials,
closing, opening, postscripts, and headline. Some
other points would be features, case studies,
customer lists, etc.

Private Label Rights Secrets

Monday, March 27th, 2006

PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS articles and ebook opportunities have been popping up all over the internet this past few months.

What exactly are they and can you make money from them?

I’ve been doing some digging around to find out if PLR products are a good bet for solo business operators. This is what I’ve discovered.

What Are Private Label Rights?

Private Label Rights is a fairly new internet phenomenon and unlike more common Resale Rights where you buy the rights to resell someone else’s work exactly as they originally published it, Private Label Rights allow you to change anything about the book that you want to, so that you effectively make it your own publication.

Typically, PLR ebooks and articles are supplied as unformatted text or rich text files ready for you to add content to, change the title, and make a unique product out of. You can even put your own name on it as the author.

How Do You Get Your Hands On PLR Material?

Private label rights material can be bought directly from the original author and is usually made available to a limited number of people from a membership site. These sites will lock membership numbers at around 150 to 500 which means that members have less competition when the material is used on the internet.

How Do You Use PLR products?

There are a number of ways to make great use of PLR material. Allan Gardyne of associateprograms.com suggests a few ideas to get you started.

  • Rewrite them and distribute them to article directories, with a link to your website in a source box at the end. This will boost your link popularity, help raise your PageRank and send more visitors to your site, especially if other sites pick up the articles and publish them.
  • Rewrite them and submit them to other people’s newsletters, with a link to your site or newsletter in the source box.
  • Use them in an autoresponder course. Start by providing useful content and gently introduce a few affiliate links.
  • Package a bunch of articles together into a report to give away as an incentive to attract readers to your newsletter.
  • You can read more in this excellent article from Allan here.

If you have your sights set on producing an ebook then Martin Avis could help to unlock what he terms “the incredible power of private label rights”.

Martin has released his own ebook ‘Unlock the Secrets of Private Label eBooks’ which is aimed at removing the confusion that surrounds private label marketing. It takes a simple step-by-step approach to outline everything you need to do, from first principles to the professional strategies that make profits from other people’s Private Label work.

It looks as though PLR material is here to stay and offers a pain-free way to get a good foothold on the internet business ladder where content is most definitely king. But it also suggests that rewrites are important if you don’t want to be caught in the “Google Duplicate Content” trap.

Private Label Right material can be found at a number of sites. I’ve signed up for these two which I personally consider to be the best of breed.

    1. Stefan Everaet’s niche-content site offers a minimum of three themed content packages every month. They include 20 good quality articles with private label rights, a bang up-to-date keyword list if you’re planning to use Adwords to drive traffic to your new site, plus a minimum of two professionally designed headers and covers. There’s a maximum membership of 200, which I understand has just about been reached, so if you want to take advantage of this excellent deal click here.

    2. Mike Long’s Article Lightning site gives you 250 articles on a variety of niches every month. The articles are very well written and Mike’s membership cap of 300 is almost full so take a look here.

    All the best,
    Dave.
